Gable & Grace South African Shiraz/Malbec 2021

This rich, juicy Rhône-style blend of Shiraz and Malbec has blackberry and redcurrant notes and a refreshing finish. The perfumed fruits and structure make this a great match for roast pork or duck. A versatile yet elegant addition to any dinner table. This blend was specially selected by our buying team and is exclusive to Waitrose.

We take advantage of all of the soil types around the cape to bring into one blend an interesting and balanced wine. The sandy soils of the Swartland bring minerality, the coastal regions the salinity and the ripeness is born from the wines from the Breede Valley.

Our winemakers work with each of our partner growers in their vineyards to ensure the crop is healthy. There is a mix of irrigated and un-irrigated vineyards each of which adds its own unique quality to the fruit.
