Description
Chapel Down is known for its quality, and this classic Chardonnay certainly lives up to the winery’s high standards. An elegant, unoaked Chardonnay with aromas of apple, melon, nectarine and undertones of marzipan which leads to a long, fresh finish. On the palate, there are typical restrained characters of melon and butter with a streak of minerality due to the deep chalk soils on which it is grown. The wine has purity, delicacy and a fresh finish.
