Domaine Jean-Marc Astruc

Jean-Marc Astruc has been a vigneron all of his life but mostly at the local wine cooperative in the village of Tuchan. In 2015 he decided to leave and set up his own wine Domaine of 14 hectares in his home village of Tuchan. From the outset he farmed his vineyards organically and to celebrate receiving certification in 2019 he created a range of wines called Herbarium. He chose the name Herbarium after his wife Katie Jones pressed flowers and herbs from each of his vineyards to make up a catalogue of the rich variety of flora. This idea inspired the name of his wines and the labels.
