Laurent Miquel Vendanges Nocturnes Cinsault/Syrah 2021
Description
The palate shows elegant fruit aroma with notes of pink grapefruit and a mineral edge. A succulent wine with raspberry fruit, the finish is soft, long and beautifully balanced.
Certifications
Winery - The Miquel family has tended to vineyards in the heart of Languedoc for many centuries. In 1791 they acquired the Cazal Viel Estate, which had previously been farmed by the monks of the nearby Abbey of Fontcaude.
The knowledge and wisdom gained by their ancestors is a precious gift. Father to son, harvest after harvest, they have deepened their knowledge of the vines that grow here and have learned to work in harmony with nature. Today the Miquel family know the terroirs like the back of their hands.
Laurent represents a new generation of French winemakers, combining the force of his ancestors’ wisdom with an innovative approach and an uncompromising focus on quality.
Specialising in noble varietals like Syrah and Viognier, he harnesses the potential of the amazing terroir, creating wines of character that truly reflect the region of Languedoc and its inimitable style.
