Chateau La Croix Taillefer

We are a family  organicly grown estate of 35 hectares producing wines from POMEROL, LALANDE DE POMEROL and CLARET. Our Pomerol Vineyard is based on brown sandy soils with blue clay in subsoil rich in iron oxyd called " crasse de fer". This clay garanty long lasting wines.  We harvest by hand. The vinification of Merlot and Cabernet Franc is just made to reveal the very best potential of each vintage.  the wine is aged in big cask to keep the wine always stronger then the oak Savoury fair
