Savigny is one of the best value villages in the Côte d’Or, particularly in warm summers when the wines have added weight and richness. This is ripe and generous with delicious red cherry fruit, fine tannins and a sweet finish.

Jean-Jacques believes in relatively long cane winter pruning in order to space out the foliaged followed by strict évasivage in the spring to reduce yields.

Aged oak barrels for 15 months in barrels which are around 2-3yrs old
