Description
red and black fruit bouquet (cherries, blackberries), plum, liquorice and spice. A fine wine with a nice ageing potential, 10 years+. In its youth this wine offers a lot of fruit, sweet & rich tannins with great complexity. With age (7 years+), delicate tobacco notes comes out, hints of mint, chocolate, cigar box, leather, supple tannins.

Viticulture
Age of vines : 50 to 80 years old. Density : 3500 vines per HA
Vinification
traditional, 70 % destemed, natural yeast, 20 days fermentation and maceration, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and oak "foudres" (15hl to 60 hl) Ageing : 12 to 18 months in tank, demi muids, 225l barrels and foudres. Syrah & Mourvèdre ages in 2 years old barrels, no new oak.
