Description
This wine is made from lovingly tended grapes from old vines, leading to a rich, concentrated flavour. Winemaker Xavier Roger has created an intense and powerful wine that has plenty of brambly hedgerow fruit character and fine structural balance, pairing well with hearty meat dishes.
Certifications
2016 vintage: we had a lack of water during the entire spring and the summer so the yield is c 20% less than a classic year. Because of the low yield, the wines are deeply coloured, concentrated, powerful and very balanced. The whites are very fruity and easy to drink with a nice acidity.
