Description
Pierre-Agustin Caron De Beaumarchais was an eighteenth century French polymath - watchmaker, inventor, playwright, musician, satirist, diplomat, publisher & horticulturist.
His multi-faceted, multi-layered life is reflected in this classic Côtes-du-Rhône villages. Fine wines taken from selected villages are blended together to make a beautifully balanced, ripe red wine with layers of red and black fruit flavours, all overlaid with spice: Elegant, intriguing & complex - like Beaumarchais himself. It is delicious with most red meat and game dishes and is a perfect foil for a rich mushroom stroganoff.
