The Provence wine region is in South East France. Wine has been made in this area for over 2000 years; today the best-known wines are the delicate, light rosés which account for over 50% of the production. It has a classic Mediterranean climate, mild winters and warm summers with little rain. Strong Mistral winds cool the grapes over the hot summers, allowing for perfect ripening.
Vines are grown in clay, limestone and schiste soil. The grapes are carefully selected and grown with minimal interference to ensure natural ripening. The grapes are hand-harvested and meticulous care is taken to prevent oxidation and preserve the colour. Maceration, pressing followed by fermentation at controlled temperature (16-18 ° C). The wine is then aged on fine lees for 2 months before bottling
