Giesen Group

Over the past 35 years the Giesen brothers have built a reputation for delivering quality Sauvignon Blanc. Recent company investment in vineyards and winemaking have enabled expansion of the Giesen brand – creating the Giesen Group and today we are one of New Zealand’s top 10 producers by volume with distribution in 40+ countries. This included the development of a range of super premium wines; The August 1888, Single Vineyard Selection and the much-awarded Fuder wines. In 2016 Giesen grew again; acquiring the highly regarded Ara brand, a specialist single estate range from the Wairau Valley.
