Description
This unique parcel of wine is from the genius winemaker Judit Llop Gasull, who made only three barrels. The magic is in the grapes which were grown using pioneering probiotic techiques on this tiny remote organically farmed estate. Made exclusively from Garnatxa, this delicious full-bodied wine is packed with ripe black cherry, blackberry and raspberry fruit with wonderful integration of wood spice to a long finish.

The 2018 vintage started on our estate during the first week of September, a normal time for us. Broadly speaking, spring and summer 2018 were very positive for the development of healthy, balanced grapes. Spring brought much needed heavy rainfall returning our vineyards to a more balanced hydric condition following two years of intense drought. Overall summer was less hot than normal with fewer days of heatwave. There was hardly any rain in June and July, though much-needed rain in August brought relief to the vineyards allowing full ripening to follow its course.
Vinification
Following a rigorous selection process in the vineyard the grapes were de-stalked, crushed and fermented in French oak barrels.
