Description

A vivid yellow with a hint of green, the wine's golden colour make it a renowned Premier Cru. Bold and inviting aromas of toasted almonds and vanilla, the complex and exotic nose is followed by powerful and spicy notes of gingerbread on the palate, finishing with remarkable length. Pairs exceptionally with seafood, shellfish and hard cheeses.

Bernard Michaut

Viticulture

Vines are planted on very steep south west-facing slopes, using a high-environmental value (HVE) approach.

Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in oak barrels for about 15 days and a malolactic fermentation for 5 weeks at 20'C, again in oak barrels. The wine is then cold stabilised filtered before bottling.
