Description
A vivid yellow with a hint of green, the wine's golden colour make it a renowned Premier Cru. Bold and inviting aromas of toasted almonds and vanilla, the complex and exotic nose is followed by powerful and spicy notes of gingerbread on the palate, finishing with remarkable length. Pairs exceptionally with seafood, shellfish and hard cheeses.

Soil Type
The vines are located on portlandian and kimmeridgian soil, in perfect growing conditions where the unique terroir gives the grapes the ultimate opportunity for individuality. A deep layer of white clay gives the wine length, finesse and elegance.

Viticulture
Vines are planted on very steep south west-facing slopes, using a high-environmental value (HVE) approach.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in oak barrels for about 15 days and a malolactic fermentation for 5 weeks at 20'C, again in oak barrels. The wine is then cold stabilised filtered before bottling.
Maturation
35% of the wine is matured for 12 months in French oak, and the rest in steel tanks
