One of the new-wave super-Rhônes, Abélard is a Grenache-based blend with a full-bodied punch of brooding intensity, from a producer who adheres to biodynamic principles. There’s black fruit and spice, a herbal note and a silky texture. It’s concentrated, rich and intense with fine integrated oak.
