Deep purple in colour with ripe black fruits on the nose. Rich and layered mouthfeel with soft tannins and a long, smooth finish.

High altitude vineyards (900 - 1,100m above sea level) on sandy loam soils over mineral-rich bedrock. It is a temperature climate with an average of 320 sunshine days per year. There is pronounced diurnal temperature variation thanks to the region’s high altitude which helps to regulate ripening and retain freshness.

The vertically-trellised 15 year old vines are drip irrigated by glacial meltwater from the Andes. The grapes are harvested late so that they benefit from the long growing season.
