Fruit sourced from a single block (BLOCK 123) on our Leefield Station vineyard – it is a block that we have identified in the past few years as being ultra expressive. Its on the back side of the flats as the it goes slightly up into the foothills of the mountain range surrounding Leefield Station. The block typically has barer soils and subsequently more sun exposure.
Vinification
Fruit was It was harvested quite ripe hence the higher alcohol however this suits the oaked style we were going for.
