Made from 100% Rondo grapes, this medium-bodied wine has wonderful black berry fruit flavours and a slightly smoky finish. Complex aromas include black berry fruits and spicy notes that are balanced by a gentle freshness. This wine is good with steak, charcuterie, or smoked duck salad.

Bolney Wine Estate is located on the edge of the South Downs, about 14 miles from the UK’s south coast, and comprises five unique vineyard sites at around 36m (118ft) above sea level. The vines here are between ten and twenty years old and are planted at a density of 2,470 vines/ha. The soil type found at Bolney Wine Estate comprises predominantly Upper Tunbridge Wells Sand, consisting of sandy-loam, siltstone and clay over sandstone bedrock. This soil type allows good heat retention and excellent drainage.
