Greystone Wines

The Thomas family planted Greystone vineyard in 2000 on the limestone and clay hills of the Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. The distinctive terroir and north facing slopes are the perfect combination for growing organic grapes with minerality and concentration. With gentle, minimal intervention winemaking, this unique terroir is farmed organically and beautifully expressed in Greystone wines. Greystone has many accolades including twice winning Decanter trophy for best Pinot Noir, NZ Organic winery of the Year and Dom Maxwell named as NZ Winemaker of the Year.
