Description
Soft and supple on the palate with good integration of wood and attractive fruit character, this Reserva Rioja from a well-respected traditional bodega is made from a careful blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. This wine would be a good partner for lamb, duck, or vegetables roasted with sweet smoked paprika.

Vinification
The grapes were hand picked from selected vineyards and, following destalking, they were fermented at controlled temperatures between 28ºC and 30ºC. Following a full malolactic fermentation to balance the acidity, and to round and soften the wine, it was matured for eighteen months in a mixture of French and American oak barrels, with rackings every six months. After bottling, the wine was cellared for a year before being released.
