Description
Made from a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano and 10% Mazuelo that is aged for 24 months in French and American oak. The rich and intense palate shows sweet red berry fruits, a hint of herbs and a touch of vanilla on the finish. Enjoy with a herb and Parmesan-crusted lamb or beef stroganoff.

Imperial has been made with grapes from our best vineyards, located in Torremontalbo and in the area of Villalba de Rioja in the heart of the Rioja Alta and at the foot of the Montes Obarenes. They are vineyards of more than 40 years of age with small productions, on poor soils of high calcareous content and Mediterranean climatology with Atlantic influence. The vineyard, on a slight slope, is situated at 600 m altitude.
