Viticulture
Noir is sourced from various blocks but the majority are 3,300 vines per hectare, cane pruned with an average age of 20 years. Green harvesting takes place if necessary to 6-7 tons/ha.
Vinification
100% Martinborough hand-harvested fruit has been open top fermented in stainless steel. After a total vat time of 16 days the wine was pressed off and barrel aged for 11 months. Bottled without filtration.
Maturation
11 months in 228L barriques.
