Thatchers Cider

For more than 100 years, the Thatcher family have been quietly perfecting the magic that turns apples into cider. On Myrtle Farm, Somerset, each generation has passed on their cidermaking secrets. Stan Thatcher, Grandfather to fourth generation Martin Thatcher was born in 1910 and grew up on Myrtle Farm. He was a true artisan cidermaker and the real cider pioneer, taking over the running of the farm from his father, William, in 1937.
