1973 First Single estate in Rioja Viñedos del Contino was established in 1973 by CVNE, establishing the “chateau” concept in the Rioja region. 62 hectares located in a meander of the Ebro river in the Rioja Alavesa sub region. Dedication to viticulture, to achieve the highest possible quality that the terroir can offer. The result are wines of marked personality that reflect Contino’s unique provenance.
