Weingut Dr. Wagner

Weingut Dr Wagner was founded 1880 by Josef Heinrich Wagner. In 2009 Christiane Wagner took over the estate. She´s operating it with great success in the 5th generation. Because she grew up in the estate, it was obvious for her to take it over. Following the father´s footsteps and preserve the winemaking tradition, it was an obligation but also an honor. For more than 100 years the family owns premium vineyards at the Saar river. Christiane is working with the nature given qualities to produce pure and distinctive wines. She understands to keep everything away, which could distort the quality.
