Description

The long Charmat process offers consistent quality and brings pleasure to even the most demanding palates. Bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Fine perlage and an elegant bouquet with hints of apple, peach and rose petals. Supple, full-bodied, savoury and fulfilling with a long, lingering finish. Excellent as aperitif and with pasta dishes based on fish and shellfish.

This cuvee comes from a single vineyard named Torri di Credazzo- one of the most prestigious and representative vineyards in the Prosecco Superiore region. Our winery is the only one to be holder of the appellation Torri di Credazzo. (which is indeed specified on the back label). Credazzo comes from the local term creda, which means clay and refers to the type of soil in the area. Over the years the strategic position of the area, combined with the composition of the subsoil and shape of the land have led to exceptional developments in vine growing and it has now become a key area in the Valdobbiadene DOCG. zone.

Viticulture

Family’s vineyard situated in Farra di Soligo height 280 mt above sea level, in the heart of the Valdobbiadene area, oriented to south-west Long Charmat method. After the cryomaceration for 12-18 hours, the wine becomes bubbly with the addition of select yeast during the secondary fermentation in autoclave for 90-120 days at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
