Description
Brightwell Vineyard’s Oxford Regatta is a fully dry red wine produced from Dornfelder grapes grown in Oxfordshire’s Thames Valley. Oak barrel aged with supple tannins, it has a refreshing clarity and long clean after taste. Medium bodied with flavours of cherry, damson and red berries, this is a crisp and fruity wine that drinks well on its own, or as an accompaniment to most dishes, especially with red meats.

Regatta A very clean, fully dry red wine made from Dornfelder grapes. A similar style to northern Italian red wines, it has a refreshing clarity and is redolent of English summer berries, with flavours of cherry and damson with a long finish. Oak barrel aged, it has supple tannins, and is an outstanding example of the ever-improving quality now being achieved in English winemaking. Oxford Regatta is a versatile wine that drinks well on its own, or accompanying any food. Clean and smooth it will balance red meats or highly spiced foods such as Chinese and Thai dishes.
