Description

Decadently sweet, there’s an opulent cherry mouthful of liqueur plums and figs, with a young, blueberry-like character that remains fresh through to the long, spicy finish with soft, smooth tannins. This is a superb sweet red wine to serve alongside chocolate puddings or soft blue cheeses.

Maturation

The wine is aged in barrel for 6 years, part of which is transferred into large glass vessels and put into the sun to increase its concentration. This is then mixed back into the barrel for the remainder of the ageing process.
