To create “Selección de Maestros”, the Maestros Roneros choose from Havana Club’s reserves the finest aged rums which stand apart for their exceptional qualities. Then, these hand-picked rums are aged in specially selected barrels, chosen by the Maestros Roneros for the powerful aromatic potential of their wood, where they develop their character and intensity. At the end of this ageing process, the Maestros Roneros select collectively the rums that will compose the final blend, which will be bottled straight from the barrel. This unique finishing process, the “Cuban Barrel Proof”, gives to this rum its unequalled aromatic bouquet and exceptional quality.
