Viticulture
Sustainable practices are used in the vineyards, featuring plot management. One of the most remarkable features of Chateau de Panigon is its exceptional terroir which benefits from the influence of both the nearby Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde river estuary, which collectively help the vines to grow well and the grapes to reach excellent maturation
Vinification
Equipped with a modern winery, the Chateau vinifies all of its wines according to traditional methods, featuring separate parcel vinification in thermos regulated stainless steel vats, gentle extraction of juice by shedding, reassembly and pumping over several times a day, micro oxygenation under the cap and 3-5 week barrel fermentation
Maturation
100% of the blend is aged for 12-18 months in 33% new French Oak barrels
