Description
This soft, elegant and aromatic white is made from Chardonnay grapes grown around the Mâcon region of southern Burgundy. Thanks to a little time spent ageing in oak, the wine is smooth and round, with flavours of apple and stone-fruit, a hint of citrus and a lovely streak of minerality. A good partner for risottos, roast chicken or simple fish dishes

Viticulture
Cave de Lugny is certified in Sustainable Winegrowing which is based on 4 pillars; preserve the environment, guarantee quality from the wine to the glass, support the local heritage and offer a fair price to the consumer and the producer. For the treatments of the vine we respect the regulations and we have traceability.
Vinification
Grapes are mechanically harvested then pressed in a pneumatic press. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel vats (constant temperature of 16 to 18°C), and the malolactic fermentation is completed at 100%. The wine is matured with its lees in stainless steel vats, with a portion being matured on French Oak, and is then bottled in traditional Burgundy bottles.
Maturation
The wine is matured with its lees in stainless steel vats, though 8% of the blend is barrel aged, crafting good texture and balance
