Description
Giffords Hall is a family-run vineyard in the village of Hartest, between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. The Bacchus grape variety makes wines with a distinctively aromatic, slightly flinty quality. This Bacchus has a luscious nose, great length and mouthfeel is packed with fruit flavours and carries elderflower and citrus notes. The Giffords house Style is dryer than most but is so fruit driven it tends to be mistaken for a medium dry. Bacchus is a classy match for fish, prawns and is celebrated annually as a brilliant partner for fresh asparagus. Available from 13 local stores.
