Made by award-winning David Guimaraens, great-great-great-grandson of the founder, this port exemplifies the rich, muscular Fonseca style at a very good price. Fruity, with a vigorous spicy palate, it will benefit from a few months’ cellaring, yet can be enjoyed now. It is more expressive after an hour or so in a decanter.
