Description
The ancient, indigenous variety Sagrantino is grown in the area around Montefalco in central Umbria. A rich red wine of immense power and concentration with the capacity to age for up to 15 years in bottle, it is becoming one of Italy’s most prestigious red wines. Best enjoyed with grilled meats or flavoursome hard cheeses.
