Description
The single vineyard site of Rotenberg produces fine, elegant wines with a flush of citrus. This wonderfully expressive blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris has aromas of grapefruit, honey and spices and an intense, juicy, precise palate. A fresh lemony note makes this ideal with fish in buttery sauces. Nose: Sweet but deep, with citrus, almond, crystallised honey, custard and raisins. Mouth: Supple with an impression of volume. Loaded with fruit with hints of citrus. The finish is butter mixed with white chocolate and the raw acidity of lemon. This wine pairs well with Mediterranean dishes, fish, and lemon dishes.
