Description
The Chenin Blanc grapes for this wine are grown in a single vineyard in the Olifants River area of the Western Cape coast. It’s a zesty, dry, unoaked white, refreshing as a sea breeze, with vibrant flavours of green apple. Try it with seafood salads and fresh, spicy Asian dishes.

Soil Type
The soils range from dark alluvium to clay. This, combined with the well-drained, hilly terrain and Mediterranean climate, prove excellent for viticulture. Summers are dry and warm to hot, with some February and March days rising to over 40 °C . Winters are cool, rainy and sometimes quite windy, with daytime temperatures averaging 16 °C Southern to Eastern Slopes induces cooler conditions which allows slower ripening periods of grapes.
Viticulture
The vines' age ranges from 7 to 13 years old. Spur pruning is the norm. Pruning actions are applied to open the canopy for sunlight and airflow.
