Description
The 2021 Classic South Nelson Sauvignon Blanc is intensely varietal and alive on the nose with hints of melon, lime and hops. The palate is bright and flavoursome with layers of tropical passionfruit and ripe grapefruit. The finish is long and luscious.

Viticulture
Vertical shoot positioning helps to expose the berries to sunlight, thus getting maximum intensity and optimal ripeness. To further enhance the aromatics, leaves were removed to allow light penetration and air movement around the fruiting zone. All Seifried vineyards and our winery are accredited with Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. We have been involved in both programs since their inception in the 1990s (vineyards) and early 2000s (winery).
