Le Grand Ballon Rosé 2019
Description
Thierry’s father, Joel, brought him up to produce wine in a delicately nuanced style, yielding a fresh, subtly fruited wine. This mineral and elegant rosé is made mostly from the red-berry scented Gamay variety. It has a pure, salmon pink hue and a spiced nose of red currants, strawberries and raspberries. Well balanced, lively yet supple and creamy on the palate.

Viticulture
Grapes are direct pressed with selection of juice, followed by settling of must for a 12 hour period. Temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15°C over a period of 15 days. Wine is left on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks for maximum development of aromas and flavours. Maturation in stainless steel tanks before tangentiel filtration and bottling.
