Description

A wine of intense colour with a complex profile of fresh red fruits, herbal and floral notes. The minerality is evident with notes of cool limestone and graphite. The palate is silky with lively acidity and great structure provided by the tannins. Complex and long on the finish.

Striated alluvial soil with depth between 10 and 80 cm, on a conglomerate of large stones covered with calcium carbonate.

Viticulture

From Paraje Altamira, 1,100m above sea level, in the Uco Valley from 20-year-old vines.

Vinification

Grape movement by gravity, fermentation in concrete vats with native yeasts, maceration of 20- 25 days and aged in barrels and concrete vats. Bottled unfiltered.

Maturation

30% aged in old French oak for 12 months and 70% in concrete eggs
