Pazzia Primitivo di Manduria 2019

A rich and opulent wine with vibrant flavours of ripe cherries and plums, combined with subtle overtones of cocoa and vanilla. This wine has a velvety texture, softened by the warmth of the Primitivo grapes; brambly fruits on the palate and a persistent sweetness on the finish

Primitivo is an early ripening variety, therefore the grapes are harvested in the first or second week of September. In 2018 some light rainfall occurred in the pre-harvest period which preserved the grapes acidity level while balancing the sugar content

Thermo-controlled maceration for about 10 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts

In French and American oak barriques for 6 months.
