Description
3 different vineyard sites : Black Sheep - sand; Church - alluvial loam; Cellar Block - black clay
Open fermented and matured separately prior to blending. 80% of blend matured in new French oak barrels, 20% in older French oak barrels.
Aromas of violets and thyme, with a textured palate of blueberries and plums, undercut by notes of iodine, liquorice and and brown sugar.
A full-bodied heavy weight and a heavy hitter with incredible length.
