Description

This ice pure minerally Spätlese (late harvest) Riesling has zesty lemon and lime flavours which perfectly partner Asian and spicy cuisine... or drink on its own or with cheese dishes.

Viticulture

The vineyard is located in Ruedesheim area. The Magdalenenkreuz vines are 20 years old and trellised with the Cordon sytem and the canopy management is Leitz's own structure. Sustainable farming practices are employed including leaf removal.

Vinification

Whole cluster pressing used and grapes left on sediment overnight. Fermentation carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Wine is then left on lees for around 4 months. Following this it is filtered via cross-flow.
