This complex multi-layered wine from the Mosbacher winery in Forst is one of Germany’s top dry whites, with lifted lime and linden fruit and an intense, mineral palate of bright flavours of apple, citrus and honeysuckle. Delicious on its own and very versatile with food.

Geographic situation: 120 - 180 m above sea level To the east flat; to the west of the Weinstrasse (German Wine Road) sloping and rising towards the edge of the forest. Soil structure: Clayey sand, partly with stony soil. On the slopes weathered lime stone. Origin of name: 'Gottesacker' designates the churchyard or graveyard. In historical times such site names were given to the glory of God; they confirmed man's belief that wine was a blessed gift from God.
